DAY 1: DECEMBER 19

GINTUNG PAKPAK ECO-PARK, ARAYAT

Built on the slopes of Mt. Arayat on the Baliti side, Gintung Pakpak Eco-Park is carefully engineered to blend naturally with the existing natural contour of the mountain. Enjoy its native cottages, man-made lake, fishponds, fruit-bearing trees and more.

BALE BATU (LITTLE CAMBODIA OF THE PHILIPPINES), ARAYAT

Hidden at the foot of Mt. Arayat, Bale Batu is a large pyramid like compound that looks like it was created in 9-14th centuries by the Hindu and Buddhists of Java.  The hand made temple was built in the course of 4 decades starting from the 1960′s by a Kapampangan artist named Jesus Padilla, or what he was known as by his peers, Apung Susing.

BAHAY AT YAMAN NI SAN MARTIN DE PORES, BUSTOS

A slice of Batanes in Bustos, Bulacan, this sprawling retreat center not only features several Ivatan houses that solitude-seekers can rent but also serves as an orphanage, housing children of different ages that were rescued from the streets of Manila. A portion of the collection will be donated to the orphanage. Participants may wish to bring extra gifts for the orphans (12-15 years old) preferably canned goods and toiletries.

BUSTOS DAM AND ECO-PARK

Bustos Dam also known as Angat Afterbay Regulator Dam is a small irrigation dam at Bustos, Bulacan is often mistaken by the locals as Angat Dam since it is located close to the nearby town of Angat. The project is located at Barangay Tibagan, Bustos, Bulacan, served by the Angat River. The main dam is about 18 meters above sea level. Among the 2.5-meter high, six-span dam's main features are easily deflatable and inflatable rubber body, resistance to sedimentation, economical and having auto-deflation system.
